Sheetwrite 0.5.4 removes references to source map files that the packages do not publish. It has no API changes. All seven packages release as 0.5.4.
Highlights
- No missing source maps. Debuggers and bundlers no longer try to load
.mapfiles that are not in the packages. - Size charts in the release notes. Package sizes show as before/after bars for each package, with the exact table in a collapsed section.
Changes
Source map references
Since 0.5.0, the published JavaScript and type declarations of
@sheetwrite/core, @sheetwrite/xlsx, @sheetwrite/react, and
@sheetwrite/vue ended with a //# sourceMappingURL= comment, but the
packages did not include the .map files. Browser developer tools and some
bundler loaders tried to load these files and showed warnings. 0.5.4 removes
the comments. The JavaScript stays readable, so stack traces point to real
lines in the package files.
Package sizes are almost the same as in 0.5.3: @sheetwrite/core downloads
1.4 KiB less and @sheetwrite/xlsx 0.2 KiB less.
Engine packages
@sheetwrite/wasm and @sheetwrite/formulas release as 0.5.4 so that all
packages have one version. Their engine does not change.
